Primary 1 News

Primary 1 have been really busy this term.  They have been learning about the ancient and modern Olympics and are looking forward to the torch relay starting soon.  They have been continuing their learning about Jamaica their focus country and are excited about running as fast as Usain Bolt at the early level sports!

Primary 1 are also looking forward to their trip to Edinburgh Zoo on the 30th May.  They are going to visit the pandas and hope they will thank us for our sponsorship.  Hopefully the weather will be kind to us.

Primary 1Y held their health assembly for parents and the rest of the school on Friday 11th May.  Everyone watching would have been really impressed with their skills on stage and we are very proud of everyone!

We look forward to Primary 1X doing their assembly next month on Friday 15th June.

We have again enjoyed welcoming parents into Primary 1 for our Shared Start and Shared Finish sessions recently.  We hope this was useful to parents to see how well the children are working in Primary 1.  The children certainly enjoyed the visits!  Any feedback from parents would be welcomed as we plan for future sessions.
