P2 News

Primary 2 have recently had 2 aliens from the planet Niburu come to spend time in their classroom. They have come to find out about light and the children have been busy learning about day and night to complete their missions! This has been very exciting and the children have been really motivated to complete their missions on time.

Primary 2 have been learning about 3D shapes and were given the option of making a rocket at home to bring in and share with the class. The rockets brought into school have been fantastic and the children have been very excited to share them with their class and discuss how they made them. This has been a really great activity to develop listening and talking skills as well as learning the names and properties of some 3D shapes. Thank you for your support with this activity.

Some of our Primary 2 pupils were chosen to be narrators for the Nativity and we are very proud of their hard work. Well done to Emily, Romilly, Amy, Holly, Fahad, Cole, Cameron, Eilidh, James, Nathan, Poppy, Alex, Lucy and Millie.

The pantomime last week was excellent and children really enjoyed the performance of Puss in Boots. They were captivated with the lights and the smoke and really got into the show shouting as loud as they could whenever the evil witch or ogre appeared! It was really good fun and the children behaved brilliantly.

We wish you a magical Christmas and look forward to seeing everyone back in January.
