P7X have been busy with so much in the last few weeks that we have hardly noticed the time fly by! We really enjoyed a trip to Frankie and Benny’s on Tuesday 5th November to celebrate our restaurants topic. We enjoyed making and eating our pizza’s and smoothies at 10.30 in the morning. It was great fun and everyone learned a thing or two about the restaurant industry as we ate!
Back in school, we have been working hard on designing our restaurants and coming up with our business plans within our home teams. We will be holding our Restaurant Showcase Event on Tuesday 19th November to try to sell our restuarant brand to local restaurant experts, from the Papermill, Frankie and Benny’s and Gigi’s – a very exciting prospect. We look forward to seeing P7 parents and carers there, if you can make it.
Both P7 classes have been enjoying taking part in the Micro Tyco competition and are well on our way to making our £1 go a long way! In P7X, we decided to make a start by making toasties for the children from P3-7, with a choice of ham or cheese. We took orders and have cooked them for the children throughout this week at break time. The smell has been drifting teasingly throughout the school! Not only have they been enjoyed by all, but we are doing well raising funds as a result. We will keep you posted as we go.
Watch this space – it’s all happening here in P7!
