P4 News

Last term Primary 4 thoroughly enjoyed taking part in Master Classes. We had the opportunity to choose from a wide range of activities such as sewing, animal studies, short tennis and outdoor games. As part of our learning about other world religions we looked at Judaism and the festival of Hanukkah- we even had a Hanukkah party with traditional games and music.

We also absolutely loved the performance of ‘A Christmas Carol’ at the Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh, and went on to compare this to the film version which led to some very interesting discussions about the characters and plot.

At the start of this new year we have been making our resolutions which are linked to our lives in and out of school, we hope to keep them! We have dived into our Scots Focus and the story of Auld Cruivie with great enthusiasm. This has included work to develop our map skills and understanding of Scotland’s landscape.
