P2 News

Primary 2 enjoyed their visit from Generation Science where we learnt about Day and Night. We then presented our talks on a science theme which were very interesting and successful.

Learning outdoors is part of our weekly timetable this session and we have enjoyed a variety of different activities using our literacy, numeracy, art and science skills.  We have also been working with some PE students from Edinburgh College on a Thursday morning.  We have enjoyed learning different ball skills with them.

It was lovely to see how all our daffodils had grown from bulbs to flowers. It made a beautiful show at our Daffodil Tea. We would like to thank everyone who came along to support us. We hope that you enjoyed the singing and tea with home baking. We raised £172.83 for ‘Marie Curie’ foundation and will be sending a cheque to this organisation. Well done to everyone.

We hope that everyone has a lovely Easter break and we are looking forward to the Summer term with lots of exciting events.
