The school are entering a float in the above event under the theme “The Movies”. This ties in with the P6 and P7 topic of The Moscars and allows us to use some of the art work already created last term on our float. However we definitely require, from 9am on the day, a team of parents to help decorate the float. (There will be bacon rolls and coffee to keep us going!)

Following 2 months of high quality film production, a grand total of 48 films were sub-mitted by Midlothian primary school teams for the 2014 Midlothian Moscars. The films produced are of very high quality and it is clear that the pupils have learned a huge amount about film-making and digital literacy. The judging process begins this week, with nominations for 14 Moscars awards to be decided. The winners will be revealed on Moscars night on the 17th June and the Moscars will be presented by Boogie from Forth FM.
Well done to all the pupils and staff who have created an amazing selection of films for the judging panel to consider.
And a special well done to P6X and P7Y for their entries School of Pranks and Straight A’s – we wish them well!!!!
