P6 Trip to Amazonia

Our P6 pupils enjoyed a fantastic day out last week to Strathclyde Country Park’s Amazonia.  This was a perfect way to round off their Rainforest/Sustainability topic.

The children had the opportunity to see macaws, marmosettes, snakes, kinkajous and many other creatures from the Amazon rainforest not to mention the opportunity to handle snakes, tarantulas and gekkos!

The children enjoyed the interactive room where they could rain dance and rescue butterflies.

The trip was rounded off with a game of ten pin bowling as the year end Good to be Green celebration.  Well done to all P6 pupils for earning this treat.
