Our children are enthusiastic and working hard. This term, we have spent quality time working together in learning teams to build our class charters and agree our targets. We are delighted that so many P7 children have already started to try new things this year to help them to personally prepare for High School. Everyone is keen to support each other and be encouraging. Well done!
P7 have also shown that they are excellent role models for the rest of the school by:
- Being effective contributors when buddying the P4 pupils in Rights Respecting Schools work
- Being successful learners when performing in our P7 school assembly for parents and the rest of the school
- Being confident individuals when volunteering for and undertaking the many important P7 jobs
- Being responsible citizens when we buddy the P1 children to help them to settle into the school lunch routine and also at the recent One Planet Picnic
We are also all enjoying our novel study ‘Parvana’s Journey’, having lively discussions and fun active learning. Learning about other lives is helping to broaden our knowledge and develop our thoughts about the wider world.
We are looking forward to an exciting year ahead!
