Merry Christmas
After yet another extremely busy term, may we take this opportinuty to wish all our Lasswade pupils and their families and all our staff a very Merry Christmas and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Tuesday 6th January 2015!!!
Midlothian Numeracy Competition
Well done to all the pupils in P5Y who took part in the Midlothian Sumdog Competition. As a class we finished in 7th position. Both George Kavoussanakis and Tom Scotland finished in the top 10 students based on the number of questions answered correctly; George finished in 4th place with 914 points and Tom finished a 9th position with 873 points. Also a huge well done to James Moffat, Jack Brown, Dylan Gibson, Raghav Sandeep & Kyle Money for finishing in Midlothian’s top 50!
P5Y are now all looking forward to competing in the Holiday Competition!

2015 School Menu

P1-P3 are now entitled to a free school meal!!!
P3X News
Berry the fairy wrote to P3X asking to help with her problem as the elves are all poorly with a bug and can't make the boxes for all the toys to go in.
We wrote back and to her we could help and here we are with our boxes that we made a decorated ourselves.
Berry will be sneaking into school this weekend with her fairy sleigh to collect all the boxes we have left for her. Will she leave us any clue that she has visited our classroom?
We will have to wait until Monday to see!
Christmas Jumpers – 12th December
Please wear your Christmas jumper tomorrow to school and bring a small donation for the Sick Kids (one of our chosen school charities).
Next Friday is dress down day – no donation required!!
School closes at 12pm next Friday.
