Nursery Achievements
Thanks to Isla, Niamh and Kayleigh in P6X who have helped gather achievements of our pupils this week. Well done to the following nursery pupils:
Elle and Hayley can ride their bikes without stabilisers
Rose slept in her own bed all night by herself
Jamie can get dressed by himself
Kerr can put his shoes on his correct feet
Jude got a certificate and his first stripe in Little Tiger Cubs
Maisie got a swimming badge
Right to Play
The whole school have been involved in THE RIGHT TO PLAY AND REST poster competition.
We chose a winner from each class including the nursery and have had these blown up to be displayed in our playground. Here is Laiba and Sophie with their winning posters.
We are hoping to apply for our Level 2 award very shortly and this competition along with the work of the steering group on a playground charter has been part of a focus on Article 31 – The Right of Every Child to Play and Rest.
Thanks to everyone who took part in the competition.
Welcome to Mrs Cameron
Good Luck Miss Donaldson
We had a lovely assembly this afternoon to wish Miss Donaldson all the very best in her new post as Head Teacher at Craill Primary.
From the nursery to P7, our pupils shared memories, poems, songs and a special film to say how much we will miss her.
Tomorrow is Miss Donaldson’s final day and I am sure you will join with us at LPS in saying a massive thank you to her and wish her well in her new post. We will miss you 🙁
