Wildlife Garden
Our open morning on Saturday 19th September was a huge success.
Many thanks to all the parents and pupils who came along to help plant in the garden. It was well attended and the weather could not have been kinder.

The garden is now almost complete but is ready to be enjoyed by our pupils with immediate effect.

Science Masterclasses
Our Science Masterclasses commence on Monday 28th September. Each class will enjoy 4 separate Masterclasses covering a range of science experiences and outcomes.

Class Brass – P5 Pupils
If you are in P5 and are interested in learning to play a brass instrument. Please read the attached letter inviting you to attend an introductory meeting next Monday at 4.30pm and LHS.
P4-P7 – Midlithian After School Ski Groups
If your child is interested in learning how to ski after school on a Tuesday evening at 4pm – please contact Mrs Stevenson for further information.

Wildlife Garden
Our wildlife garden is nearly ready!!
You are invited to join us on Sat 19th Sept from 1030am – 12.30pm to help plant plants, to create bug hotels ad wildlife habitats.
The more the merrier. And NO GREEN FINGERS REQUIRED!!

The hugely popular Midstock music festival is set to be bigger and better in 2015, with 11 acts headlined by the Fratellis, Fish and the Hoosiers. Midfest Family Fun Day – Sunday 13 September, 11.30am until 7pm
Dalkeith Country Park
Attractions include the Royal Scots Pipe Band, Taiko Drummers, Funbox, Domestics, Skababs, Milestone, Beeslack High School Band and Samba Band, St David’s Brass Band. There’ll also be food and drink, fairground attractions, arts and crafts stalls, and a community safety village. Although the fun day is free, it is a ticketed event. Parent Council
Our first Parent Council meeting will take place on Monday 7th September at 6.45pm in the staff room.
