The tuck shop is always very well supported by our pupils and a massive thank you to our P7 pupils who manage and operate the tuck shop with confidence.
Our teachers have been linking their interdisciplinary topics to the rights of the child. Here are some of the plans in store:

P4 – Weather -the right to information from national and international mass media (article 17) and Financial Education – the child’s right to a standard of living adequate for the child’s physical, mental, spiritual, moral and social development (article 27)

There have been a wide selection of activities including: art therapy, heartstart, touch rugby, Upbeat Dance, visit from an occupational therapist, input on ADHD and a mixed stage learning afternoon working co-operatively.
Individual classes supplemented this work in class and carried out activities on hygiene, keeping safe and discussing our own individual selling points to mention but a few. And there has been an attempt by teachers to take learning outdoors too.
We hope the children enjoyed participating.
See some of the amazing artwork created.
Please note the staffing update and a special message from Mrs Doyle.
