The next Parent Council Meeting is on Monday 22nd April at 7pm in the staff room. We will be organising Lasswades Got Talent so if you can spare some time to help and support this event please come along to the meeting.

The next Parent Council meeting will be held on Thursday 14th March at 7pm in the staff room. We will be starting to put plans together for Lasswades Got Talent so if you can help out please come along to the meeting as we always needs lots of hands on deck to make it a successful evening. Even if you can’t make it along then you may be able to help us acquire raffle prizes from local companies which can help raise funds for the school. Here’s what we have raised so far for the school this year and with a successful Lasswades Got Talent this could rise significantly.

The Parent Council AGM will be held on Thursday 11th October at 6.30pm in the school hall. Please come along and hear how the Parent Council have been working with the school over the past year. There will be refreshments and entertainment from some of  our younger children.

Immediately after the AGM there will be a Parent Council meeting in the School Staff Room – if you are interested in joining the Parent Council feel free to come to the meeting. Everyone Welcome.

Minutes from Parent Council Meeting Monday 10th September

Here are the minutes from the recent Parent Council meeting – if you are interested in joining the Parent Council our AGM will be held Thursday 11th October at 6.30pm in the school with a meeting after the AGM so please come along to meet everyone. We are also looking for someone to take on the position of Secretary if you are interested in this please speak to someone on the Parent Council or come along to the AGM.

Lasswade Primary Parent Council

10th September 2012

7pm @ the Staffroom

 

Lasswade Primary Parent Council would like to invite you to our first meeting of the academic year on Monday 10th September in the staffroom at 7pm.  (just inside the main entrance by reception).

The main aim of the Parent Council is to help the school operate as a successful school and parental involvement is key to the success of our school partnerships and greatly supports the management, and social aspects of our school community.  The Parent Council is a group of parents who give their time and skills voluntarily to directly benefit the school, who do fun things for our pupils while raising much needed funds for our school. We are open to all parents and carers of our pupils.

Our meetings are informal and held about 6 or 7 times a year and we are always looking for new ideas on how we can better support our school so please do come along!

Parent Council Minutes Monday 28th May

Here are the minutes from the last Parent Council meeting. This was quite a busy meeting with a lot of discussion around space in the school and the building in general. Colin Beattie our MSP attended this meeting and he was interested to hear the thoughts of parents. As you’ll also see a lot of work and planning is going into the school summer fair if you can help us with this please get in touch or speak to someone in the school office.
